I believe my grandmother, his sister, Ada Margery Colegrave (nee Foster), was heavily involved in bringing him up, as she was about 14 years older than him, I think. We have a few items of his somewhere in the family, but not sure where now. There was his flying log book, a hand drawn picture of him and the letter informing of his death.Leighton Colegravehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06296127482368470641noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15193681.post-63856425485240899462019-09-09T05:20:50.006-07:002019-09-09T05:20:50.006-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Leighton Colegravehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06296127482368470641noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15193681.post-58559808214217141102015-02-13T18:57:39.335-08:002015-02-13T18:57:39.335-08:00Hi Luanne!

It touches me that you care so deeply and share your love for your family with us in this way. Your mother was a trail blazer, a free spirit, who I'm sure took great pride in raising her family. Mothers sometimes lose a piece of themselves as they give all to raising children.
